"Dude you are like most Americans a hypocrite". I don't appreciate the condescending statement towards Americans. If you want to call Foxgod a hypocrite, then just call him one. No need to stereotype over 300 million people to prove your--rather lame--point. Also, just a note of observation, your grammar is horrible. If you want to sound at least somewhat intelligent, you should try working on that!

This is true, the game looks great with that mod. Lol your last comment,"The mod reminds me why i am exclusively a PC gamer" reminded me of myself a couple years ago. I was strictly a pc gamer because of free mods and better graphics on pc (and cheaper games too!) However, I bought a ps3 and I feel happy with it. While pc games are miles ahead of ps3 in hi-res textures and resolutions (and arguably AA too), I found that ps3 exclusives have better lighting, animations, and polish/opt...

The Witcher was pretty good. I wasn't a fan of the interface in general, though. And the combat could've been better... but, overall a good game. I also bought the Enhanced Edition which came with a strategy guide--some parts would've been impossible with out it!! I am looking forward to The Witcher 2, as I hope they polish it up more!

Lol THIS scares you!? Man, I must be getting old or something.... What is "scary", relatively speaking, is in a world where sovereign nations and military power have dominated the last couple hundred years of the international political system, you now have IOs and MNCs--such as google--who can actually dictate the actions of a country. Case in point; Google threatening to pull out of China and the potential consequences it might have. That further strengthens the notion that the wo...

@mac. Perhaps I should've stated, in reference to America, they are vastly superior (not just technologically) at CONVENTIONAL WARFARE than any other nation. Asymmetrical warfare is another story... And, please don't tell me about the "complexities of war", as I assure you, I know this subject well. If you want to debate me about such issues, pm me. And also, in your response to Ayrani, you made things too personal... don't criticize others' governments on a video game site. Not the...

It's all a matter of context. But please, don't confuse American civilians and American soldiers. If it is American soldiers vs. Iranian soldiers... then odds are gamers won't care which "side" you're on as long as the context is right. By this I mean, if it is fictional conflict... or a nonfictional one in which people (Americans and Iranians) are not still sensitive about. For instance, there have been countless WWII shooters, no? And of all those, do you recall one which reenacts...

So you suggest, which you think is a 'better' enemy, North Korea and Iran? Really!? Seeing as how NK could not launch an offensive against the US and the US could just bomb it from afar.. which would defeat the purpose of a video game. And Iran? So by saying Iran, and excluding them from your 'Taliban/Al-Qeada foe', you mean the Iranian army? That would be a pointless game, enemy to fight, using conventional warfare... the US is light years ahead of Iran in military capability. And for your '...

Your train of thought is pretty solid, and I agree with it. However, (there's always a 'however' lol) There's a chance that his game gets released farther down the line than we think.. and that later on is when we will see a 'media blitz' for his new IP. However, I don't think this is the case... Jaffe is very good at making fun car games and he stated he wanted to make a game sorta like Warhawk (size-wise). A Twisted Metal online only game seems logical. Perhaps a remake, as some think, or a...

I absolutely loved Morrowind, Oblivion, and Fallout3. But please, please, give it co-op. These games are designed in a way co-op would work wonderfully. Questing in RPGs is much more fun with someone, imo. Also I hate getting all this badass armor, weapons, and stats and only telling friends about it, rather than showing them up by playing online with them. Basically i love open world game and co-op games... add the two and i'm happy Bethesda!

It's funny how everyone are such drama queens on n4g. The PSN goes down, has some problems, and people freak out. It's technology, it's going to screw up from time to time--don't overreact! On topic--kinda funny, yet pointless, list.

Keep trying, the porn industry is a lucrative market. Lol sorry, i had to comment on that!

Luckily, my 8GB of ram comes in the mail today. Unluckily, i can't afford a dx11 card now. Ah, pc gaming can be depressing lol!

Nice. I'm excited to see how those NASCAR cars perform on such a track... or taking it one out in a rally race lol. I loved GT3 Aspec sooo much, I spent more time with that game than any other I think (except maybe Socom II). GT4 was ok, but just didn't have that same magic GT3 did. I have a good feeling GT5 should trump GT3 in every aspect--at least I hope!

OLED tv's are coming, just not in the next few years. Give them about 5-7 years. Sony, like others above mentioned, was a little early putting their tv on the market. OLED manufacturing are currently unable to keep up with demand as it is (is smaller devices like phones and mp3 players). Kodak sold off it's tech to LG and Samsung is the worlds largest OLED manufacturer... so OLED tv's are coming. Remember how much the first plasma tv cost? WAY TOO MUCH! OLED tech might also replace current li...

Not sure if you have ever seen plastic before... so I won't make fun of you for that. "but let's not make ridiculous claims." It's not a claim, it's a fact. A claim would be something like, "Kratos is the best character model in video game history". What I said, was my opinion, and as such, makes it factual because I do IN FACT, think that it has the best skin tone/texture I have seen. Whether you agree or not makes no difference.

I respectfully disagree with you.

5828d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

The character model of Kratos is amazing. It has, by far, the most realistic skin texture/tone I've ever seen. I absolutely can't stand people who look at something like GOWIII (or any other graphically rich game) and say "Meh, look at that low resolution texture there... the graphics are just ok". EVERY game currently will have low resolution textures somewhere... even Crysis on max settings has low res textures on some things. Kids these days are so spoiled... I look at games now ...

But what do all of those games have in common? They're first person shooters. Ghost Recon will stand out in that crowded list of top notch shooters for the simple fact it is a tactical third person shooter.

5828d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I'll be honest, not a big fan of ubisoft anymore. However, I am really excited for this Ghost Recon. Why? Third person shooters are a dying breed this generation and I personally love them way more than FPS'. To me, GRAW was one of the first games I play that felt truly "next gen" on the 360. The last game was released back in 2007 I think, so this isn't some COD annual release--point being, with 2+ yrs of development time it has huge potential. Also, until Zipper makes a true "...
